About the role
- DevOps Engineer building Kubernetes-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for Intrahealth’s EMR platform. Collaborating with development teams and leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Own the platform that our development teams build on, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
- Automate everything from build to production, manual gates are the exception, not the rule.
- Leverage AI coding tools and agentic workflows as a core part of your work to accelerate infrastructure automation, pipeline development, and operational problem solving.
- Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform and related IaC tooling.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Embed security practices into infrastructure and pipelines.
- Work closely with development teams to remove friction from the delivery process.
- Partner with external infrastructure providers to plan, coordinate, and deliver platform work.
Requirements
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code ) and agentic workflows.
- 5+ years of industry experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, cluster management).
- Strong proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tooling.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable).
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and container security.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
