About the role

  • Product Specialist selling Johnson & Johnson MedTech Neurovascular products across Canadian hospital territories. Providing physician clinical support, managing accounts, and executing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Attain sales and market-share objectives by managing the defined territory strategically
  • Act as the main account-management contact for hospitals in the territory
  • Execute national, regional, and local sales and marketing strategies for Johnson & Johnson MedTech Neurovascular products
  • Manage territory budget and administrative duties across POD structures
  • Solicit and share customer feedback and deliver promotional programs
  • Anticipate market changes and propose solutions to improve product and company performance
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, decision makers, and targeted customers
  • Provide professional clinical support to physicians on safe and effective use of the Neurovascular portfolio
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing management to refine initiatives and create local launch strategies
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to existing and prospective customers
  • Develop proposals responding to customer needs and manage RFP/RFQs as the main point of contact

Requirements

  • Minimum of a University Degree required
  • Degree in business, engineering, or health sciences preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare/medical device sales experience OR 3 years of technical healthcare experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets preferred
  • Results- and performance-driven with bias for action and sense of urgency required
  • Willingness to work within a laboratory or operating room environment required
  • Superior written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills preferred
  • Ability to understand and discuss complex clinical trials and related data sets required
  • Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, initiative, and creativity required
  • Desire to work within a commission/bonus-driven environment required
  • Ability to travel as necessary, including overnight and/or weekend travel; minimum 25% required
  • Safe driving record under Johnson & Johnson SAFE Fleet guidelines required
