Senior Web Developer owning the marketing website and web infrastructure at Jungle Scout, building scalable, conversion-optimized experiences.
Responsibilities
End-to-end responsibility for Jungle Scout’s marketing website
Evaluate and optimize our current WordPress architecture
Recommend and potentially lead a migration to a modern framework (e.g., headless CMS, Jamstack, Next.js, etc.)
Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
Implement best-in-class web standards and modern development practices
Manage hosting, integrations, and technical SEO foundations
Partner with Marketing to launch landing pages, campaigns, and experiments quickly
Optimize site performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals
Support CRO testing and experimentation frameworks
Implement structured data and technical SEO best practices
Collaborate on AI-driven personalization or dynamic content initiatives
Explore and implement AI-enhanced workflows for content generation, experimentation, or automation
Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to increase development velocity
Help define what an AI-forward marketing site should look like
Work closely with Design to translate brand into performant, scalable components
Partner with Growth on SEO, experimentation, and performance analytics
Support Product Marketing launches with technical execution
Bring clarity to ambiguous asks and move quickly under tight timelines
Requirements
5+ years of web development experience
Strong proficiency with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS/SCSS, Webpack
Deep experience with CMS platforms (WordPress + Gutenberg experience required. Advanced Custom Fields / ACF PRO experience an asset)
Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.)
Experience evaluating platform architecture and making modernization recommendations
Strong understanding of performance optimization and web infrastructure
Understanding of SEO best practices (technical and structural)
Experience supporting CRO, A/B testing, or experimentation frameworks
Exposure to marketing analytics (GA4, GTM, attribution concepts)
Curiosity about AI in content, personalization, or automation
Comfortable operating as a standalone owner
Systems thinker who balances speed with long-term architecture
Thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Excited by autonomy and accountability
Strong communicator who can translate technical tradeoffs clearly
