Responsibilities
- Manage BI reporting/dashboard requests, support BI tool upgrades, and provide data analysis support to projects and other Business Analysts
- Support automation and AI requests, including evaluation of use cases, tool selection, and business case assessment
- Gather, analyze, and document business unit requirements
- Facilitate workshops to capture, clarify, and prioritize requirements
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and contribute to solution design
- Map current and future processes (AS-IS / TO-BE)
- Produce required artifacts, including URS and FS, and ensure the quality, completeness, and traceability of requirements
- Support project onboarding, impact analysis, and prioritization
- Collaborate with architects and IT teams to ensure technological alignment
- Participate in demand management, functional design, and validation activities, including testing and UAT
- Ensure requirements account for regulatory, compliance, quality, and information security needs
- Support training, change management, and communication activities to promote solution adoption
- Mentor internal Business Analysts and develop their capabilities in BI, automation, and AI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 7–10 years of IT experience, ideally in a regulated and/or manufacturing industry
- CBAP (BABOK) and BPMN 2.0 certifications considered an asset
- Proven experience in business analysis within complex technology environments
- Leadership experience in managing business and commercial stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements / GxP
- Hands-on knowledge of enterprise systems: ERP, CRM, SCM, MES, QMS, LIMS, HRIS, and BI
- Knowledge of the SAP technology environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Change management experience involving business process and organizational change
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
- Prior experience coaching or mentoring junior Business Analysts considered an asset
- Exposure to BI tool upgrades and dashboard platforms considered an asset
- Experience evaluating automation and AI use cases, including tool selection and business case development, considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate across organizational levels
- Ability to prioritize and execute effectively under pressure
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts
