About the role

Responsibilities
- Identify and update cost estimates for goods and report new product costs against target budgets
- Support customer quotation and proposal activities by establishing product baseline costs
- Ensure communication among stakeholders to achieve cost targets
- Monitor the market value and availability of raw materials
- Collaborate with Engineering, Commodity Management, and other stakeholders in selecting new suppliers
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships, improve costs and quality, and reduce risks
- Analyze and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs and lead times
- Collaborate with Product Development, Production, and Logistics teams to develop new product launch plans
- Support the team and electronics manufacturing partners in meeting production start-up schedules for products under development
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate meetings and conference calls with global partners, with flexibility to accommodate different time zones
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Perform other related duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in the electronics supply chain industry
- Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Knowledge of the AS9102 standard
- Knowledge of the electrical, avionics, defense, and telecommunications industries
- Knowledge of SAP, CalcuQuote, and WayRTS
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Functional proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
- Self-motivated and confident
- Strong ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexibility and excellent communication skills
