Responsibilities
Identify and update cost estimates for goods and report new product costs versus targeted budget
Support bidding and customer proposal activities by establishing product baseline costs
Ensure communication among stakeholders to meet cost objectives
Monitor market value and availability of raw materials
Collaborate on selection of new suppliers with engineering, commodity management and other stakeholders
Establish and maintain supplier relationships, improve costs and quality, and reduce risks
Analyze and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs and lead times
Collaborate with product development, manufacturing and logistics teams to develop new product launch plans
Support the team and electronic manufacturing partners to meet start-up schedules for production lots of products in development
Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
Coordinate meetings and conference calls with global partners
Participate in continuous improvement projects
Perform any other related duties
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
8 years' experience in supply chain within the electronics market
Excellent understanding of product structures, from raw materials to the final system
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Knowledge of the AS9102 standard
Knowledge of the electrical, avionics, defense, and telecommunications industries
Familiarity with SAP, CalcuQuote, and WayRTS
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Working proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Flexible schedule to coordinate meetings with global partners
