About the role
- Direct Solar Sales Expert promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential customers. Educating clients on benefits, assessing needs, and designing customized solutions in Calgary, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with potential customers through various means, such as referrals, networking, and attending industry events.
- Knocking on potential customer doors to generate interest in Solar.
- Book appointments for sales team to close leads.
- Develop and maintain a database of leads and effectively prioritize them for sales outreach.
- Educate customers on the advantages of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental benefits, and available incentives or rebates.
- Negotiate and persuade clients to close deals to meet sales targets.
- Conduct site visits and meet with customers.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven sales experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
