About the role

  • Sales Representative growing Labelink’s printing and packaging solutions business. Managing customer relationships, sales cycles, quotes, and industry opportunities in Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage customer relationships to understand needs and offer Labelink’s product solutions
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and implement strategies
  • Manage assigned customers and develop new and existing business to increase revenue across multiple industries
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to closing opportunities
  • Make decisions on pricing and other elements required to complete requests for quotes
  • Complete and understand required request-for-quote information to prevent inefficiencies
  • Plan and organize daily work schedules to contact existing or potential accounts
  • Monitor marketplace activity and use competitive information in sales presentations
  • Participate in customer complaint resolution by collaborating with operations to determine root causes and develop solutions
  • Keep the Vice President of Sales informed through activity reports containing current and potential customer information
  • Learn and use Labeltraxx software modules for required information
  • Collaborate with customer service to communicate customer expectations and exchange current information
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to build prospect networks, reach target markets, and identify new technology

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in the sales domain in the packaging or printing industry
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, prospecting, selling, cross-selling, and business development skills
  • Ability to build, manage, and maintain client relationships
  • Good business acumen with ability to design profitable agreements
  • Good decision-making, organization, and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be persistent and persuasive
  • Good knowledge of the industry, material application, and Labelink’s product offering
  • Knowledge of folded carton box packaging
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office
  • Results-driven
  • Adaptability
