About the role
- Director of Engineering at Lauren optimizing engineering functions to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and operational performance. Responsible for team leadership, project oversight, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering department
- Oversee engineering project delivery from concept through execution
- Guide the development and refinement of internal procedures
- Contribute to the development of departmental strategy and multi-year planning
- Coordinate with managers and PMO for allocation of technical resources
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia or Alberta
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible engineering experience in the energy sector
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in engineering and project management tools
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in engineering environments.
