About the role
- Senior AI Engineer designing and building production-grade AI systems for healthcare. Collaborating across teams to ensure scalable AI solutions and system performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade AI systems
- Make principled architecture choices regarding RAG and fine-tuning
- Build comprehensive evaluation and observability frameworks
- Create production-quality Python services
- Manage the economics of LLM usage
- Partner with Product and Data Science teams
- Mentor junior engineers on AI craft
- Establish standards for performance and data governance
Requirements
- Deep Technical Expertise in software engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience in machine learning lifecycle
- Proven ability to design and build scalable, distributed systems
- Experience with MLOps tools and practices
- Expertise with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- A strong grasp of data engineering concepts
- Familiarity with modern machine learning frameworks
