Developer advising clients on technology roadmap and application role at a supply chain consulting firm. Responsibilities include project delivery, issue resolution, and code maintenance.

Responsibilities

As a Developer, you will act as an advisor to our clients on their overall technology roadmap.
You will define the vision for each application’s role and identify necessary investments.
Develop enhancements for our existing platforms.
Analyze issues and fix bugs.
Successfully deliver implementation projects.
Support technology deployment for new rollouts and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain and optimize a large existing codebase within a team-based environment.
Review tickets with team members for assessment and resolution.
Perform system customizations in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and maintain effective communication with technical leadership, the architect, and your immediate team.
Analyze root causes, identify trends, and recommend actions to minimize or eliminate future recurrence.
Collaborate with colleagues to investigate problems and find solutions.
Implement, test, and debug software solutions.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Distribution, OR a related field.
A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance (QA) techniques using source code control repositories, as well as experience with debugging and testing.
Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
