About the role

  • Business Development Representative generating qualified leads for Liferaft’s threat intelligence platform. Qualifying prospects and booking Account Executive meetings through targeted outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients from named account lists through LinkedIn, phone calls, and emails
  • Present the product to potential clients using provided guides and scripts
  • Qualify clients and identify those ready for demos and meetings with Account Executives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign ideas and generate targeted leads
  • Schedule meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Meet regularly with assigned Account Executives to understand and support prospecting strategy
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
  • Stay current on products, services, competitors, and business development tools and techniques
  • Report to the Director, Marketing

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
  • Hands-on proficiency with diverse sales techniques, including cold calling
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • Familiarity with marketing automation software, preferably HubSpot
  • Comfortable navigating MS Excel
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
