About the role
- C++20 developer building mission-critical capital markets technology at LSEG. Developing low-latency systems, exchange integrations, and advanced data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop extremely high-quality, reusable, and reliable C++20/23 code
- Solve challenging problems affecting capital markets participants
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and client support
- Provide Level 3 support by analyzing and solving complex problems
- Enhance support functionality and client service experience
- Participate in occasional technical conversations with customers
- Research and understand exchange rules and formats for public market data and order entry systems
- Work with top-line CPUs, NVMe, Solarflare, and ExaNIC hardware
- Research and implement advanced C++ features and frameworks
- Contribute across the development lifecycle, including emerging technology evaluation, architecture design, integration, and upgrades
Requirements
- Excellent C++ skills, including hands-on experience with C++20 or later
- Extensive experience with C++20 in a Linux environment
- Strong work ethic and commitment to seeing tasks through
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Superb English communication
- Experience with Solarflare, low-latency NICs, and FPGA (nice to have)
- Experience with market data capture (nice to have)
- Experience with perf and Kernel Bypass technologies (nice to have)
- Knowledge of network protocols and familiarity with tcpdump and Wireshark (nice to have)
- Experience with ASan, MSan, UBSan, and TSan sanitizers (nice to have)
