About the role

  • Marketing Manager leading digital-first retirement marketing campaigns for Manulife, a global financial services provider. Driving member engagement, automation, content, and business growth across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver digital initiatives across brand and marketing strategy, operational efficiency, thought leadership, content management, and campaigns
  • Lead and implement integrated B2C marketing strategies using a digital-first, multi-channel approach
  • Activate email, mobile, website, and social channels to drive awareness, consideration, acquisition, and personalized experiences
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing initiatives with creative, compliance, editorial, digital, translation, product, and communications partners
  • Analyze customer insights and feedback to identify pain points and recommend solutions across the customer journey
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to bring digital capabilities to market and improve member experience
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and messaging that support sales, client retention, and new business
  • Advance marketing modernization and transformation through efficient, automated processes
  • Oversee creation and distribution of content and marketing materials
  • Drive continuous improvement through testing, analysis, customer feedback, and optimization
  • Create, manage, and maintain content for collateral, SharePoint, Seismic, Workfront, websites, and social media
  • Produce performance reports and analysis from digital campaign and other data sources
  • Use AI, MarTech, marketing automation, workflow management tools, and industry best practices to create campaigns and track outcomes
  • Report to the Director of Marketing, North America

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing or business experience
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and changing deadlines
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign management and execution
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills
  • Self-motivated and ambitious
  • Detail-oriented with a critical eye for quality
  • Results-oriented and execution-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to liaise directly with colleagues throughout the organization
  • Adaptability to conflicting project requests, priorities, and industry changes
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and group retirement market is a plus
  • Proficiency in digital channels and platforms
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and digital tools/data for campaign optimization
  • Knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer, Workfront, Seismic, and Microsoft Suite is an asset
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required for successful candidates in Québec to work with teams from other provinces and countries
