About the role
- Lead Power Platform Reliability Engineer at Manulife enhancing applications and services. Collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring team members in low-code solutions and Power Platform technologies.
Responsibilities
- Leads both Power BI and Power Platform Global CoE forums
- Drives identification of dependencies and development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform
- Builds end-to-end low code solutions using Power Platform’s out-of-the-box capabilities adhering to app building and Application Lifecycle Management best practices
- Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders to drive project plans, release plans, and work items
- Mentors team members on building Power Platform solutions
- Seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns to improve the performance of products
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in software development (full stack)
- 5+ years of experience in a financial institution or regulated industry
- 5+ years experience of architecture and design thinking for distributed and data analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience in Power Platform development will be given higher priority
- Knowledge on Power Automate Desktop, Power Virtual Agent, Power Pages, and AI Builder
- Experience building applications on the Azure or any cloud platform
- Experience with web application development using .Net, C#, React, TypeScript
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse / Dynamics 365 customization & integration
