About the role

Android Engineer building and maintaining mobile app to simplify healthcare benefits management for users. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and usability across platforms.

Responsibilities

Build intuitive, mobile-first experiences that are accessible and easy to use
Translate user stories into efficient, maintainable, and tested code
Ensure applications are secure, performant, and dependable
Integrate mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and external data sources
Identify and fix issues, continuously improving overall application performance
Collaborate with Designers, Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and other Software Engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions
Participate in design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews to share knowledge and raise quality
Continuously learn and explore new technologies that can improve how customers experience our products

3+ years of experience building Android applications that integrate with remote services and APIs
1+ years of experience creating UI components with Jetpack Compose
Solid understanding of Android architecture, performance optimization, and mobile security
1+ years of experience working with Git for version control (GitHub preferred)
Some experience or familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring products work well for everyone
