About the role

  • Project Manager leading strategic business and digital transformation programs for Manulife, an international financial services provider. Driving governance, delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation initiatives
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and delivery roadmaps
  • Establish and maintain project governance, including risk, issue, dependency, and decision management
  • Prepare executive presentations, steering committee materials, status reports, and leadership updates
  • Translate complex information into actionable insights
  • Build relationships across business and technology teams to drive stakeholder alignment
  • Facilitate decision-making and support change adoption
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and benefit realization activities
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks proactively
  • Partner with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver measurable outcomes
  • Strengthen governance, change adoption, and organizational effectiveness

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of project or program management experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives
  • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong governance, reporting, and executive communication skills
  • Experience developing steering committee and leadership materials
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or other project/change management certification
  • Preferred: Experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation, operational excellence, or organizational change initiatives
  • Preferred: Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and business case development
  • Preferred: Excellent executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives with significant organizational impact
