About the role

- Bring your technical expertise and soft skills to technology projects in Canada
- Participate in the design of technical architecture

- Share development best practices with the Maplr community
- Suggest improvements and actively contribute to the life and future of the Maplr community
- Train new Maplrs and participate in their technical evaluations
- Participate in exclusive Maplr community events
Requirements
- A completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including 3 or more years of frontend development with React and TypeScript
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Redux or an equivalent state management library, and the React ecosystem (hooks, React Query, Next.js)
- Experience consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs in web applications
- Ability to build accessible, high-performance, responsive interfaces
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum) teams
- Proficiency with ESLint and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, npm)
- Ability to independently learn new technologies and ways of working, including secure and clean development practices
- Curiosity about and interest in the banking and/or financial markets sector
- Experience with React Native or mobile application development
- Experience with test automation (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience with design systems and Storybook
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Good understanding of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
