About the role
- Senior Ecommerce Manager leading Champion Petfoods' Canadian ecommerce strategy, retail media, and digital shelf execution. Driving online sales, profitability, and brand integrity across digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead, expand, and optimize Champion Petfoods' digital commerce footprint across Canada
- Own and execute the Canadian digital commerce strategy across key online accounts
- Drive sustainable revenue, volume, market share, profitability, and online sales growth
- Lead commercial operations including new account setup, catalogue and master data onboarding, supply chain coordination, and promotional go-live planning
- Develop demand forecasts, inventory targets, and joint commercial plans with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance
- Deliver digital shelf and merchandising excellence across PDPs, SEO, bilingual content, ratings and reviews, and in-stock availability
- Plan, execute, and optimize search and sponsored retail media investments
- Uphold brand equity, pricing discipline, online price consistency, and channel harmony
- Monitor platform feature rollouts, digital commerce trends, and retail operational policies
- Establish channel KPIs, reporting cadence, and performance dashboards
- Act as digital commerce subject-matter authority for the Canadian commercial organization
Requirements
- Proven success managing commercial relationships and day-to-day operations with major online retail and digital commerce platforms in Canada
- Experience with 1P vendor portals and/or 3P platforms
- Experience with commercial negotiations, catalogue onboarding, and promotional execution
- Proven track record managing retail media investments, search advertising, and performance marketing budgets
- Experience maximizing ROAS and organic rank
- Experience managing channel P&Ls or full commercial trade budgets
- Strong analytical mindset
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a lean, dynamic environment
- Ability to align Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Operations stakeholders
- Strong preference for English/French bilingual capabilities
- Experience in Pet, CPG, or premium/specialty consumer packaged goods
- Familiarity with Canadian commercial logistics, vendor fulfillment models, Canadian distribution center replenishment, and CAD pricing architecture
- Experience with online brand protection, minimum advertised price (MAP) compliance, and digital pricing integrity
