About the role
- Architecte IA principal(e) concevant l’architecture de plateformes de santé critiques chez McKesson. Opérationnalisation IA/ML, gouvernance et modernisation infonuagique.
Responsibilities
- Define and guide the enterprise-level architecture of critical products and platforms incorporating artificial intelligence
- Translate business strategies into scalable solution designs
- Approve end-to-end AI architectures
- Help teams operationalize AI and machine learning capabilities securely and responsibly
- Collaborate with engineering, data, security, and business teams to define the target architecture and simplify the technology ecosystem
- Design and approve end-to-end architectures spanning artificial intelligence, data, and applications
- Lead the operationalization of the AI and ML solution lifecycle, including deployment readiness, observability, and continuous optimization
- Define architecture standards, governance mechanisms, and exception-management processes
- Guide cloud-native and hybrid solution strategies across multiple cloud platforms
- Oversee the data preparation and feature engineering required to productionize AI solutions
- Evaluate platforms, integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and data flows
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and operations leaders to manage technical risks and accelerate delivery
- Communicate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor architects and engineers and foster continuous improvement
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience
- More than 10 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, software engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience designing large-scale architectures for cloud-based, distributed, and integrated systems
- Experience with AI/ML architecture, AI/ML lifecycle operationalization, and production deployment models
- Strong hands-on experience in cloud architecture; proficiency with Microsoft Azure required
- Experience defining and implementing architecture governance processes, standards, and design reviews
- Excellent knowledge of APIs, event-driven architectures, data architecture, security by design, and operational resilience
- Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, the C4 model, ITIL 4, OWASP Top 10, or other enterprise architecture and cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with multi-cloud environments, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, backup and disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures
- Experience with data preparation, feature engineering, MLOps, model monitoring, and AI governance
- Experience in complex, regulated, or large-scale enterprise environments
- Demonstrated achievements in platform modernization, technology roadmap development, or architectural integration during mergers and acquisitions
- Proven ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and support the development of architects or engineering teams
