About the role

  • People Operations Systems Analyst optimizing HRIS platforms and workflows for Medisca, a global healthcare solutions company. Improving data accuracy, automation, reporting, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the HRIS to ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, and a seamless user experience
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for HRIS functionality, configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Lead and support the implementation and alignment of a new global system
  • Manage HRIS upgrades, enhancements, and implementation projects end to end, from requirements gathering through launch
  • Configure and maintain workflows, approval chains, and integrations between the HRIS and other business platforms
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and analytics
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits, testing, and data governance practices
  • Identify, design, and implement opportunities to optimize and automate the Talent and Culture team's processes and workflows
  • Map current processes, identify pain points, and design future-state workflows
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across HR systems and total rewards operations
  • Document standard operating procedures and maintain process documentation
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams and business leaders to support workforce planning, reporting needs, and cross-functional process alignment
  • Train and support end users on HRIS tools, new workflows, and system enhancements
  • Monitor system performance and workflow effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvements
  • Support project planning, testing, and change management activities for system implementations and upgrades
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and deliver enhancements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in HRIS administration, systems analysis, HR operations, or process improvement
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including Workday, UKG, Dayforce, or SAP SuccessFactors, and HR data management
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS implementations, system optimization, or process improvement projects
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and HR reporting/BI tools
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and documentation, including Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data management
  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations and insights
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and translate business needs into system requirements
  • Experience with system integrations and an understanding of data flows between HR platforms is an asset
  • HRIS- or systems-related certifications, such as Workday, UKG, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma, are considered an asset
