About the role

  • Stagiaire en ingénierie au sein de MHI RJ Aviation, participant à la conception de réparations structurelles. Collaborer avec l'équipe d'ingénierie et assurer la conformité des réparations aéronautiques.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the engineering team responsible for designing structural repairs in accordance with regulations (Transport Canada (TC), FAA, EASA, etc.) and Bombardier Aerospace requirements.
  • Perform sizing of repairs, select structural configurations and materials (metallic and composite structures) to develop optimized repair schemes while meeting tight customer schedules and deadlines.
  • Develop repair solutions and submit them for conformity verification and approval to a Transport Canada Design Approval Delegate (DAD).
  • Coordinate with other sections and departments to ensure the development of optimized and efficient repair solutions.
  • Publish recommendations regarding the airworthiness of damaged aircraft.
  • Provide direct assistance, when required, to Bombardier’s mobile repair team, including repair design and analysis, and operator instructions regarding inspections required for return to service.

Requirements

  • You have completed 3 years of a Bachelor’s degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • You are a team player, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong computer skills to use various software (including CATIA V4 and V5, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience in structural stress analysis for aircraft repairs is an asset.
  • Working proficiency in French and English.
