About the role
- Freelance Mechanical CAD and Simulation Engineer training AI agents in real CAD environments. Designing geometry, building reference solutions, and evaluating engineering outputs for a global platform.
Responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents working inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks
- Design part geometry
- Build reference solutions
- Judge and assess AI agent attempts
- Collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the built geometry
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling using CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar
- Experience preparing geometry for simulation using ANSYS or similar is a strong plus
- An active professional CAD licence of your own is required
- Comfortable with Python and GitHub
- English at B2 level or above
- Availability for an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active project phases
