About the role
- Senior Full Stack Java Engineer building Java, React, and cloud-native applications for Miratech’s WFM and CX solutions. Designing APIs, microservices, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build modern web applications using React, TypeScript, reusable components, responsive layouts, and accessible interaction patterns
- Develop and consume REST APIs using an API-first approach, maintaining OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and error handling
- Design modular solutions using microservices and object-oriented and event-driven design patterns
- Use Node.js for lightweight services, backend-for-frontend components, integrations, or development tooling
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and queries for integrity, performance, and audit history
- Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, and other integration patterns
- Containerize applications and contribute to cloud-based deployment patterns, configuration management, and environment consistency
- Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, quality gates, and repeatable deployments
- Instrument applications with structured logging, metrics, tracing, and actionable error reporting
- Troubleshoot functional and production issues and improve application performance, resilience, scalability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and engineering teams through design sessions, code reviews, planning, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 6+ years of full-stack software development experience, including ownership of production applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies, particularly Spring Boot, REST services, persistence, security, and automated testing
- Solid frontend development experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and modern testing practices
- Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, build tooling, or supporting components
- Proven experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and maintainable applications in distributed environments
- Strong SQL skills and experience designing efficient data models in PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases
- Experience developing, deploying, or supporting cloud-based and containerized applications
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and lead client-facing workshops
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure API design
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable messaging and event-streaming technologies
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling, and secure software delivery practices
- Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) applications or platforms is a nice-to-have
- Experience with AWS services and Amazon Connect is a nice-to-have
- Experience building CX, contact center, or customer service applications, including voice infrastructure or integrations using FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, Twilio, or comparable platforms, is a nice-to-have
- Knowledge of forecasting, scheduling, adherence, routing, agent desktop, digital channels, or related operational concepts is a nice-to-have
- Experience integrating with CRM, identity, HR, payroll, analytics, or other enterprise systems is a nice-to-have
- Practical experience with AI-assisted software development or AI-enabled solutions, including Claude or GitHub Copilot, is a plus
