Hiring a DevOps with Middleware professional for a full - time permanent role in Toronto, ON. Must have experience with Linux, AIX, Windows server infrastructure, Azure, and Cloud Technologies.
About the role
- As a Back-End / DevOps Software Developer, you will engage in designing and delivering innovative digital solutions with a development team. You will specialize in back-end development while managing DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- You play an active role in designing and delivering world-class back-end services and Cloud Native infrastructures.
- You own the DevOps dimension of projects end-to-end, from CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to observability, security, and secrets management.
- You show up fully in agile ceremonies and technical discussions, bringing your expertise and perspective to shape product direction, whatever your role on the team.
- You proactively surface opportunities for improvement and champion innovative solutions that push projects forward.
- You work closely with development teams to embed DevOps best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- You leverage AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and responsibly to sharpen your productivity and raise the quality of your work.
- You're confident engaging directly with clients, presenting technical solutions clearly and guiding teams toward stronger practices.
Requirements
- Tu es une personne passionnée et orientée vers les résultats, qui sait analyser, prioriser et trancher efficacement face aux situations les plus diverses afin de bâtir des produits et services de haute qualité.
- Tu possèdes un anglais et un français fonctionnels pour répondre aux besoins des clients dans un contexte professionnel.
- Tu as une solide expérience en développement back-end avec des technologies comme Elixir, .NET ou Python, et tu es enthousiaste à l'idée d'adapter ta stack selon les besoins des clients.
- Tu possèdes une expérience concrète et significative en DevOps : tu es à l'aise avec AWS ou Azure, Terraform, Docker et GitHub Actions, et tu sais comment ces outils s'articulent dans un contexte de livraison continue.
- Tu comprends les enjeux de sécurité, d'observabilité et de maintenabilité des systèmes que tu construis et opères.
- Tu comprends les bases de l'IA, tu sais l'utiliser de manière responsable dans tes flux de travail et tu es à l'aise avec les outils de développement assistés par IA (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.).
- Tu as démontré ton autonomie et ta proactivité dans tes nombreux projets passés et ton savoir-faire et ton savoir-être contribuent à rendre l'équipe meilleure.
- Tu maîtrises en profondeur les concepts fondamentaux de développement et d'architecture logicielle, forgée au fil d'une expérience significative.
