Responsibilities
- Define and build the foundation of AI at Moxie
- Design and ship production-grade agentic AI systems that improve customer workflows and internal operations
- Establish a clear technical architecture for AI at Moxie
- Create reliable evaluation and testing practices to measure AI quality over time
- Integrate AI deeply into the Moxie platform
- Lay the technical foundation for a growing AI function, including standards, documentation, and mentorship for other engineers
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling complex software systems
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating AI / LLM-backed systems in production
- Understands agentic system design, including tool use, orchestration, state/memory, guardrails, and failure modes
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, APIs, data modeling, and testing
- Comfortable owning systems end-to-end — from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Can partner closely with senior product and engineering leaders and clearly communicate technical tradeoffs
