About the role
- Software Developer designing, testing, and maintaining secure applications for Multiview, an ERP and financial software company. Collaborating across teams and using AI coding agents to improve client-focused products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, test, and document new or modified software products and ongoing business projects
- Design and implement programs meeting company and client needs
- Facilitate proper and innovative software design and implementation
- Maintain programs professionally and create regular updates addressing company and client concerns
- Collaborate across teams with developers and product management
- Identify issues with AI-generated code
- Use AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot to triage and fix issues
- Troubleshoot coding problems efficiently
- Participate in code reviews and present code walkthroughs
- Develop programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information and ensure software security
- Improve business software processes and interactions
- Analyze information and recommend and plan installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in software development
- Computer Science degree or diploma OR equivalent work experience
- Experience developing software using C#, React, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL
- Thorough programming skills with Oracle PL/SQL
- Ability to develop unit tests of code components or complete applications
- Ability to analyze code for weaknesses and errors and present detailed improvement plans
- Heightened attention to detail and strong analytical technical problem-solving skills
- Outstanding verbal and written collaboration and communication skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines for multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to quickly gain working knowledge of the product, interpret requirements, and recommend solutions
- Experience with .NET Core and JavaScript is considered an asset
- Experience with accounting/financial applications is considered an asset
- Experience with Oracle Database development is highly desirable
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or an equivalent is highly desirable
