About the role
- Licensed mortgage broker helping Canadians secure data-driven mortgage solutions at Perch, an award-winning Canadian brokerage. Automating workflow, managing leads, and closing mortgage deals.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and close mortgage deals
- Use workflow automation to nurture the client pipeline and identify opportunities
- Guide clients through mortgage applications
- Use Equifax soft credit checks
- Request the correct documents from clients
- Handle compliance and FINTRAC reporting
- Work with in-house support handling client intake, document gathering, and appraisal bookings
- Keep referral partners informed through automated status updates
- Serve Canadian homeowners with mortgage and home-equity decisions
Requirements
- At least $10M in mortgage originations during the last 12 months
- Ability to self-generate most or all leads
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience as a licensed Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Advisor at a bank or credit union
- Must be located in Canada, specifically the Prince Edward Island role location
- Must acknowledge that the role is commission-based with no salary or base
