About the role

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain PMO planning and reporting standards and templates
- Define the standard way to use Wrike and configure each new project according to the standard structure
- Manage version control of templates and roll out new standards with a change management plan
- Act as the internal Wrike subject-matter expert and perform recurring reviews of active project plans
- Flag structural issues, missing dependencies, unrealistic schedules, unassigned tasks and stale statuses to project leads
- Review and challenge project plans before external delivery or before milestones
- Maintain a consolidated view of active projects, risks, statuses and resource load
- Identify resource conflicts and schedule collisions
- Prepare portfolio summaries for PMO leadership
- Automate reporting and project configuration using Wrike, dashboards, lightweight scripts and connectors such as Zapier
- Create early-warning triggers for overdue tasks and at-risk dependencies
- Facilitate workshops and retrospectives and support adoption of new processes
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience
- 5+ years of hands-on project or program management experience
- Experience in project operations or PMO
- Experience owning and configuring a project portfolio management tool such as Wrike
- Proficiency with project structures, custom fields, dependencies and workflows in Wrike
- Strong process and automation instincts
- Experience creating automations with AI
- Confidence and judgment to challenge project leads’ plans
- Ability to communicate in a structured way and consolidate multiple projects into a clear view
- Comfortable working with multiple teams without formal authority
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Gemini
- Experience in change management
- Workshop and retrospective facilitation skills
- French-English bilingualism required
- Satisfactory background checks, criminal record checks and reference checks required prior to offer
- PMP, CSM or other agile certifications — an asset
- Experience with financial institutions, mortgage technology, lending or regulated B2B environments — an asset
