About the role

  • Salesforce QA Automation Developer testing nesto’s mortgage technology platform. Building Playwright automation and QA processes across Salesforce releases and environments.

Responsibilities

  • Review manual test cases for Salesforce customizations and assess suitability for automation
  • Support, maintain, and enhance automated test activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing across Salesforce releases
  • Review user stories and functional requirements to ensure test coverage across standard and custom Salesforce objects
  • Assist with manual testing by executing test cases and scripts using test management/tracking tools
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and test data strategies
  • Establish, configure, and maintain Salesforce Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs for testing
  • Participate in development, deployment, and administration of QA processes, tools, and CI/CD technologies within Salesforce
  • Design, create, and execute Playwright or other automation scripts for Salesforce Lightning interfaces, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM components

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with software testing, including significant experience testing Salesforce applications
  • 2+ years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright
  • Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security models, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules
  • Experience with Postman for Salesforce REST and Bulk API testing
  • Experience with X-ray or similar Jira-integrated test management tools
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, frequent release cycles, and Salesforce deployment processes
  • Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or standard CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git
  • Familiarity with SOQL and basic understanding of Apex
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder are a strong asset
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is an asset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people from different backgrounds
