About the role

  • Digital contract student supporting governance, vendors, invoices, and committees for OLG’s online gaming operations in Ontario. Managing contract documentation, obligations, amendments, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute contract management plans and mitigate and report contract-related risks
  • Support the Senior Commercial Contract Manager in digital gaming Governance Committees
  • Attend and support Operational Management Committees
  • Prepare committee reports covering contract status, activities, actions, and updates
  • Manage contract changes and amendments with vendors, procurement, and Legal teams
  • Develop briefing memos for Leadership and Executives on invoices and contract changes
  • Monitor vendor obligations, purchase orders, and invoice verification
  • Design, implement, and manage the Digital Contract SharePoint Site and documentation controls
  • Liaise with Finance and Accounting to ensure timely invoice processing and payments
  • Manage Contract Hub and maintain digital contract obligation logs
  • Act as secretariat for governance committees, maintaining charters, action logs, and issue logs
  • Collect operational and finance updates and statistics for management reporting
  • Assist with contract governance committee charters
  • Liaise with vendors on ongoing services and contractual issues
  • Follow the digital gaming SDM Implementation Playbook

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in commerce, accounting, business administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in negotiating, accounting, business administration, or related fields preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Salesforce
  • Must be enrolled in a registered co-op program if applying through a co-op program
