About the role
- Senior Remediation Specialist at Onterris managing complex oil and gas remediation projects. Responsible for client communication, technical review, and project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Overall accountability on a high-profile client portfolio of moderately to highly complex projects for legacy upstream oil and gas facilities
- Provide senior review and approval of all technical deliverables and scopes of work associated with projects
- Lead communication with the client’s program management team and project related stakeholders
- Prepare and/or review technical correspondence, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and reports
- Transfer knowledge, share experiences, and support the training and mentorship of colleagues.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in environmental science, soils, geology, engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of twenty (20) years previous experience in applied environmental science
- A minimum of ten (10) years of direct technical oversight experience of legacy upstream oil and gas projects
- Experience with various in-situ, ex-situ remediation technologies is an asset
- A valid and clean class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions.
