MS Canada is a national charitable organization that supports people living with multiple sclerosis and their families across Canada. It provides information, peer and clinician-guided support (including MS Navigators and support groups), wellness programs, community events and fundraising activities, and funds and advocates for research into treatments and a cure. MS Canada also engages in public advocacy, volunteer mobilization, and donor services to advance care, quality of life, and scientific research related to MS.

• The Manager, Communications plays an advisory role in the development and implementation of best practices in corporate communications, with direct accountability for enhancing the organization’s reputation and proactively managing initiatives and projects that impact public perception of MS Canada.
• You will play a key role in informing constituents through compelling external communications and will manage the media relations activities for the organization.
• You will be an active collaborator with members of the organization to shape and deliver messaging to help teams meet their communication and public relations goals, contributing to their objectives.

• Process donations and enter donation details into database, in coordination with finance, to ensure accuracy, gift acknowledgement and receipting.
• Enable effective use of data by creating, maintaining, and distributing database reports and assisting with the preparation of mailing lists and coordination of donor correspondence.
• Provide data management support to the team through the upload and export of information as well as updating the Philanthropy Team document library.
• Contribute to the maintenance of data quality and integrity in the CRM database through duplicate management, business rules adherence and consistency of data in overlapping systems.
