About the role

  • OpenText partner marketing leader driving global channel growth across system integrators, resellers, distributors, and technology alliances. Leading joint go-to-market programs, campaigns, and partner teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the global partner marketing strategy and vision
  • Drive joint go-to-market programs with strategic partners to expand market reach and generate new revenue opportunities
  • Build and nurture relationships with executive leaders across key partner organizations
  • Lead a high-performing partner marketing team
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Global & Events Marketing, and Enablement
  • Oversee partner campaigns, events, sponsorships, and communications
  • Use data-driven insights to measure program success and optimize marketing investment
  • Represent OpenText at industry events, conferences, and executive forums as a thought leader
  • Influence company-wide go-to-market strategies and align partner marketing with business objectives
  • Strengthen market presence and enhance partner satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel management, or related leadership roles
  • Experience ideally within the software or technology sector
  • Proven track record of building and executing high-impact partner marketing strategies with measurable business outcomes
  • Strong executive leadership and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of partner ecosystems, channel dynamics, and joint go-to-market models
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, inspire innovation, and drive strategic alignment
  • Ability to work across a matrixed organization and lead through influence
  • Expertise in partner enablement, co-marketing programs, and global campaign execution
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies
