About the role

  • Security Project Agent conducting safety assessments in constituency offices across Canada. Responsible for risk evaluation and supervising safety improvement installations in compliance with set guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments in constituency offices and Members' residences
  • Identify vulnerabilities and recommend, as well as oversee, the installation of security improvements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across Canada
  • Travel across Canada to perform various risk assessments

Requirements

  • Post‑secondary diploma in a field related to physical security, security management, or project management, or a diploma from another relevant specialized program with equivalent experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain at least a Secret‑level security clearance
  • Experience in physical security and knowledge of physical protection methods and practices
  • Experience in security planning and/or working on medium to large‑scale capital, refurbishment, and/or facilities projects
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of project management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies
  • Experience working with professionals in architecture, engineering, security, construction, and procurement
  • Experience reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, and/or electrical drawings, including site and building plans, to ensure compliance with security requirements
