About the role

  • Product Owner responsible for managing product backlog for quote to cash subdomains at Equinix. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery of maximum value to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Subdomain Product Backlog
  • Collaborate with the Experience Product Managers to define and prioritize the product backlog for your respective subdomain
  • Clearly articulate and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and other requirements
  • Ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer needs, and strategic objectives
  • Work with development teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs
  • Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure continuous improvement
  • Provide clear guidance on the expected outcome and work with the team to meet the Definition of done
  • Determine and pursue the optimal Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements through regular interaction and feedback
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are effectively managed
  • Communicate product updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders and the broader organization
  • Collaborate with Experience Product Managers and other Product Owners to ensure alignment and coherence across the product domains
  • Work with upstream and downstream teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal end-to-end experience
  • Engage with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in product management and agile methodologies
  • Continuously refine and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a product owner or similar role
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, particularly in large organizations
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with quote-to-cash systems and transformation is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • SalesForce Marketing Cloud Implementation Experience is a plus.
