About the role

  • Strategy and AI operations leader partnering with Parallelz executives on planning, analysis, business operations, and fundraising. Building AI-native systems as Parallelz scales native mobile apps into web experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with the executive team to translate strategy into operating plans, track execution across functions, and unblock obstacles
  • Own strategy and analysis for market entry, pricing, unit economics, headcount planning, and capital allocation
  • Build models and provide data-backed recommendations
  • Own business operations across product, go-to-market, engineering, and internal operations
  • Design and run processes, systems, and reporting, including vendor and partner relationships
  • Define where AI should be used across the business and identify opportunities for meaningful leverage
  • Partner with function leads to redesign work processes and lead organizational AI adoption
  • Manage transitions so operational changes are embedded and sustained
  • Support corporate development and fundraising through investor materials, diligence, market and competitive research, and target evaluation

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years in strategy and operations, business operations, chief of staff, corporate finance, or another broad cross-functional role
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or venture, large technology companies, or high-growth startups
  • Advanced, hands-on AI fluency, including understanding how AI systems work under the hood
  • Extensive use of AI to automate workstreams and run persistent agents in place of manual processes
  • Quantitative depth and comfort with models, blank spreadsheets, P&Ls, cohort curves, and pricing scenarios
  • First-principles thinking
  • Ability to write clear one-pagers that drive decisions
  • Comfort with breadth and changing ownership
  • Ownership instinct and ability to close loops
  • Consumer technology, mobile, ad tech, platforms, gaming, or interactive entertainment experience is a nice-to-have
  • Corporate development, M&A, venture investing, or fundraising exposure is a nice-to-have
  • Zero-to-one experience launching a company, product, or venture is a nice-to-have
