About the role

Senior Mobile Developer developing and maintaining payment solutions on iOS and Android for PayFacto. Seeking a skilled individual with expertise in mobile software development and payment technologies.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of payment solutions for Android and iOS
Develop and maintain existing solutions
Communicate effectively within an agile software development team
Write automated unit tests to validate code correctness
Perform testing at all levels, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing
Design and develop an iOS Tap to Pay solution using Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone APIs
Integrate NFC-based contactless payment flows with payment processor SDKs on iOS
Ensure PCI DSS compliance and meet Apple security requirements for Tap to Pay

Strong understanding of mobile software development, with a minimum of 5 years’ programming experience in this field
Excellent Android development skills using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform
Strong iOS development skills using Swift and SwiftUI
Hands-on experience with Apple’s Tap to Pay on iPhone framework and the ProximityReader API
Knowledge of NFC standards, EMV, and contactless payments on iOS
Familiarity with Apple entitlements and App Store review requirements for payment applications
Experience with Xcode, iOS simulators, and TestFlight for testing payment apps is a plus
Good knowledge of software engineering best practices, including performance and security
Experience with Scrum/Agile software development processes
Proficiency with development tools and debugging techniques
Experience with Git and Atlassian tools
Practical knowledge of CI/CD approaches and tools
Experience in the POS/payments industry is an asset, particularly development for PAX payment terminals
Experience with AWS is an asset
