About the role

  • Ad Creative Video Editor responsible for crafting compelling video ads that convert for an eCommerce team. Strong editing background and proficiency in video software required.

Responsibilities

  • Edit Direct Response Videos to produce engaging edits for formats like VSLs, UGC ads, and short-form content that drive results.
  • Source & Integrate B-Roll to find high-quality, relevant footage from external sites to enhance storytelling and keep visuals dynamic.
  • Create Iterations of Winning Ads by taking top-performing creatives and reworking them into new variations for ongoing testing and scaling.
  • Follow High-Converting Editing Principles by implementing best practices for pacing, structure, transitions, hooks, and calls to action to maximize viewer engagement.
  • Maintain Visual Consistency & Brand Quality to ensure all output adheres to brand style guidelines and maintains a polished, professional look.
  • Collaborate with Creative & Strategy Teams to work closely with Creative Strategists, marketers, and designers to execute concepts with speed and quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing for direct response brands or performance marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of engagement-driven editing techniques (pacing, storytelling, viewer retention)
  • Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
  • Ability to work with briefs and scripts to bring strategic concepts to life
  • Attention to detail, excellent file organization, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with AI tools for editing or asset sourcing (nice-to-have)
  • Experience creating for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid social platforms (nice-to-have)
  • Motion graphics or animation experience (bonus)
  • Experience with tools like ICON, Motion, and AI automation tools (bonus points for leveraging them in workflows)
