About the role
- Technical Program Manager operationalizing release governance and dependencies for Petal’s healthcare orchestration and billing software. Fully remote within Canada on an initial six-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of product and technology releases across multiple teams
- Manage dependencies, risks, timelines, and scope across interconnected technical initiatives
- Ensure changes and delays are reflected in upcoming planning cycles
- Help improve and operationalize Petal’s program-management practices
- Facilitate effective governance, communication, and decision-making across teams
- Work closely with Go-to-Market stakeholders to support release readiness
- Apply a pragmatic approach to process and adapt best practices to Petal’s scale and environment
- Work closely with the Director, Program Management and teams across Product, Engineering, Platform, IT, Security, and Product Operations
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in project and/or program management
- Strong experience in a software, SaaS, or software-product environment
- Experience managing multiple interconnected projects or programs
- Strong understanding of software delivery and technical dependencies
- Experience improving or implementing program-management practices
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and bring forward practical recommendations
- Strong English communication skills required
- Must be able to provide reasonable business-hour coverage in the Eastern Time Zone
- Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada
- PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification (nice-to-have)
- Consulting or transformation experience (nice-to-have)
- Healthcare or healthtech experience (nice-to-have)
