About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, model, and evaluate complex IT solutions
  • Develop distributed architecture and systems integration
  • Define and implement standards to better guide the IT vision and business decisions
  • Analyze current technologies and provide recommendations for addressing organizational requirements
  • Document the requirements necessary to implement proposed changes
  • Manage modifications and keep design and topology documentation up to date
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to select compatible solutions
  • Advise clients on proposed concepts, costs, and expected benefits
  • Analyze the scope and organizational impact of projects
  • Estimate the design and implementation efforts and costs for solutions
  • Design and support the execution of hardware and software testing
  • Identify and address operational security threats
  • Ensure that technical components are aligned with business needs
  • Organize the handover of solutions to asset owners and technical staff after implementation
  • Ensure the end-to-end definition, governance, and delivery of technology solutions
  • Act as the primary architecture owner for projects and programs throughout their lifecycle

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of application architecture, systems integration, APIs, and cloud technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
  • Project management experience
  • In-depth understanding of IT architecture principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and provide leadership within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and develop business cases
  • Ability to coach and mentor technical teams and guide solution implementation
  • 8–12+ years of IT experience
  • 3–5+ years of experience specifically as a Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or in an equivalent role
  • Strong experience as a Senior Developer, Tech Lead, or Integration Lead
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining applications
  • Technical experience in networking, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and databases
  • Experience delivering GxP systems and a strong understanding of the GAMP 5 framework
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
