About the role
- Geomatics QC Technician validating survey data and deliverables for PHASOR Engineering’s high-voltage electrical projects. Processing data, resolving discrepancies, and supporting project compliance from Edmonton.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control checks on survey data and deliverables
- Validate and process data using industry-standard software
- Collaborate with project teams to maintain data integrity and compliance with standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of geomatics deliverables for projects
Requirements
- Proficiency in Trimble Business Center is required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Experience with MicroSurvey and/or AutoCAD
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Programming experience, such as Python or VBA, is an asset
- Previous experience in geomatics or surveying quality control is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
