About the role

  • Associate Architect role on VoiceAI team in healthcare technology. Designing and implementing AI-powered applications for patient experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable software.
  • Design, implement, and maintain distributed software systems with a focus on AI-enabled product capabilities, Voice AI agents, and LLM-powered workflows.
  • Drive technical architecture.
  • Define system architecture, business domain boundaries, scalability strategies, infrastructure requirements, monitoring, and technical documentation.
  • Partner across teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Design, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Lead engineering execution.
  • Guide sprint planning, support software deployment, contribute code, perform pull request reviews, maintain security and quality standards, and support products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership.
  • Mentor engineers, support hiring, lead Beta cycles, troubleshoot production issues, manage escalations, and help drive Agile development practices.
  • Continuously improve solutions.
  • Evaluate frameworks, technologies, and build-versus-buy decisions while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience building distributed applications in an object-oriented language such as C# or Java.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, or integrating Voice AI agents and LLM-powered workflows in production environments.
