About the role
- Associate Architect role on VoiceAI team in healthcare technology. Designing and implementing AI-powered applications for patient experience and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable software.
- Design, implement, and maintain distributed software systems with a focus on AI-enabled product capabilities, Voice AI agents, and LLM-powered workflows.
- Drive technical architecture.
- Define system architecture, business domain boundaries, scalability strategies, infrastructure requirements, monitoring, and technical documentation.
- Partner across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
- Lead engineering execution.
- Guide sprint planning, support software deployment, contribute code, perform pull request reviews, maintain security and quality standards, and support products throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership.
- Mentor engineers, support hiring, lead Beta cycles, troubleshoot production issues, manage escalations, and help drive Agile development practices.
- Continuously improve solutions.
- Evaluate frameworks, technologies, and build-versus-buy decisions while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of experience building distributed applications in an object-oriented language such as C# or Java.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, or integrating Voice AI agents and LLM-powered workflows in production environments.
