Responsibilities
- PM2CM, Inc. provides Project Management to Construction Management services.
- The Project Controls Advisor consolidates project scope and cost for budgets ranging from ~$25M to $1B+.
- Ensure projects comply with governance processes and assist Project Managers with executive approvals.
- Analyze cost estimates, verify alignment with historical benchmarks, and manage documentation for regulatory filings.
- Develop cost estimates for new and existing projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review cost estimates and gain necessary approvals.
- Perform variance analysis on cost estimates and prepare updates based on change requests.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten years construction industry experience.
- Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.
- Proficient in computer-assisted design (AutoCAD) and other design, data recording, and analyzation software.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering plans and schematics, and soils reports.
- Capability to visualize the finished grade production.
- Knowledge of Best Management Practices (BMP).
- Thorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations related to assigned projects.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be both creative and analytical.
- Extremely detail-oriented and accurate.
