About the role
- Senior Full-Stack Developer creating in-house solutions at Polar Asset Management Partners. Collaborating with global teams to innovate trading platforms in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance industry-leading platforms
- Collaborate with Developers and Quantitative analysts on Trading & P&L platforms
- Support business growth through new product onboarding
- Work with Portfolio Managers to improve Trading & Operational software
- Engage in new greenfield initiatives and incorporate feedback
Requirements
- Hands on experience with C#, .NET, C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages
- Understanding of design patterns and modern UI paradigms (MVC, MVVM)
- Experience with parallel and asynchronous programming
- Full-stack experience
- Experience building applications that run on desktops (e.g. WPF, Blazor)
- Familiarity with messaging bus (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Strong technical skills and collaborative approach
- Interest in finance and eagerness to learn about the industry
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
