About the role

  • Part-time Full Stack Engineer building Tether RE’s real estate safety platform across Flutter, React, and NestJS. Developing mobile, web, backend, and partner integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain features across the Flutter mobile app, React web application, and NestJS backend
  • Build high-quality mobile experiences using Flutter and Dart for iOS and Android
  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and backend services using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Develop and improve web functionality using React and TypeScript
  • Work with location and mapping functionality, including MapLibre and geolocation-based features
  • Integrate and maintain third-party services such as Firebase, Stripe, AWS, and authentication providers
  • Work with MySQL, TypeORM, and Redis for application data, persistence, and caching
  • Troubleshoot issues across mobile, frontend, backend, and external integrations
  • Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  • Help design and develop SDKs and reusable integrations for external applications and partners to interact with the Tether RE platform
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering team to take features from requirements through production

Requirements

  • Exceptional English communication skills, written and verbal (C1 level minimum)
  • Strong professional experience with Flutter and Dart, including production mobile applications
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
  • Experience with React 18+ and modern React development
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally MySQL and TypeORM
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and cloud services
  • Understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, local storage, authentication, and API integration
  • Experience with real-time functionality such as WebSockets/Socket.IO is a plus
  • Experience with AWS and Firebase is highly desirable
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across multiple application layers
  • Ability to work independently within an existing production codebase
