About the role

  • Technical sales specialist supporting demos, proposals, and pilots for Promise Robotics’ AI-powered robotic homebuilding factories. Bridging customers, sales, product, and engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales lifecycle, including demos, RFIs/RFPs, facility tours, mockups, and pilot scoping
  • Understand customer needs, pain points, and environments, and map them to tailored product solutions
  • Analyze customer drawings, BOMs, workflows, and ROI models linking cost, schedule, and sustainability benefits
  • Capture and synthesize customer feedback and competitive insights
  • Lead and support customer visits, technical walkthroughs, and pilot program scoping
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, in person or virtually, showcasing the Promise Robotics platform, BIM workflows, robotic manufacturing, and performance benefits
  • Develop tailored proposals, solution configurations, and value cases aligned with customer priorities
  • Build and refine sales enablement content, including slide decks, demo environments, case studies, and FAQs
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the platform, industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging prefab, off-site, and construction robotics technologies
  • Collaborate with sales to develop and deliver proposals and value propositions
  • Bridge sales, product, and engineering by translating customer feedback into product insights
  • Support onboarding and initial technical setup post-sale, ensuring smooth handoff to factory implementation or customer success
  • Maintain the SWOT analysis and consolidate benchmarking and competitive information
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical workshops as needed

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in a technical sales, pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting role
  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong technical understanding of the homebuilding construction industry
  • Experience supporting a consultative or solution-based sales process
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites, tradeshows, or internal meetings
  • Familiarity with Revit, CAD Software, or related platforms
  • Experience with CRM systems, including HubSpot, and sales enablement tools
