Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and implementation of agentic AI solutions that power Prophix One Intelligence
Build and enhance retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems to support financial analysis and decision-making
Develop and integrate AI tools that enable task automation across financial workflows
Implement AI systems that process natural language inputs while maintaining accuracy, reliability, and data integrity
Participate in defining and evolving shared AI architecture, patterns, and best practices
Implement and refine evaluation frameworks to measure and improve LLM performance
Develop scalable AI services using AWS-native technologies
Collaborate closely with other AI engineers, product partners, architects, and LLM Ops to deliver cohesive solutions
Contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews within the AI team
Stay current with advancements in AI and apply relevant techniques to real-world financial use cases
Requirements
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML systems
Strong Python development skills, including building production services using FastAPI
Solid experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and embedding-based search
Hands-on experience with LLM platforms such as OpenAI SDK and AWS Bedrock
Experience building agentic AI workflows and integrating tools with LLMs
Knowledge of Text-to-SQL techniques and natural language processing concepts
Experience with AWS services such as Fargate, SQS, and OpenSearch
Familiarity with LLM evaluation techniques (e.g., LLM-as-Judge, automated evaluators)
Experience with LLM observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Langfuse, Datadog)
Strong understanding of system design principles for scalable AI applications
Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional engineering team
Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
