About the role
- Senior Software Developer building scalable Java full-stack applications for Quantiphi, an AI-first digital engineering company. Designing APIs, front-end components, databases, and deployment pipelines for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, jQuery, React, and SQL
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs focused on performance, security, and scalability
- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end components using modern JavaScript practices
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Optimize database performance and write efficient relational-database queries
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding, architecture, and design best practices
- Support CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes
- Contribute to automated testing strategies and improve overall code quality
- Mentor junior developers at the senior level
- Solve complex technical challenges and deliver clean, maintainable, efficient code
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer
- Experience with complex, data-driven applications
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework; Spring Boot preferred
- Strong front-end experience with JavaScript and jQuery
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Understanding of full-stack application architecture and design patterns
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React is nice to have
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright is nice to have
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker is nice to have
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is nice to have
