- QA Engineer advancing AI-first testing for Quest Software’s enterprise identity recovery products. Automating quality validation across Azure SaaS and Windows enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Champion AI-first quality engineering practices using AI-powered tools and agents
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and quality validation solutions
- Perform API, integration, end-to-end, performance, security, and scalability testing
- Define and execute risk-based testing strategies for cloud-native SaaS applications built on C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and architects throughout the development lifecycle
- Create reusable AI-assisted testing workflows, prompts, and quality guardrails
- Validate enterprise software integrating with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and related services
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, test environments, observability, defect prevention, and Agile delivery processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Development within Agile product teams
- Experience owning quality outcomes throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through release and post-release validation
- Strong programming or scripting skills using C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, TypeScript, or similar
- Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating quality validation into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience designing and executing testing strategies across functional, API, integration, performance, reliability, and security testing
- Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms
- Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, or agentic workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for investigating complex issues across distributed systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional Agile teams
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, or related services
- Preferred: Experience with Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent technologies
- Preferred: Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar tools
- Preferred: Experience validating enterprise SaaS, identity management, cybersecurity, backup and recovery, or systems administration products
- Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and secure software development practices
- Preferred: Working knowledge of application security concepts, OWASP guidance, and common security vulnerabilities
